a disharmonious system that prioritizes its continuity over its usefulness is ineffective and undesirable.
a desirable system is useful, responds to feedback and is discarded gracefully when it is no longer useful.
when a new system is implemented, the target of its design instantly mutates to accomodate it, therefore a system always warrants its own improvement
